With roots in Norway and Indonesia respectively, Arne and Mia made Singapore their home (as they both work and live in this fine city) and was excited to showcase this tiny red dot to their close friends and family when they got engaged. An intimate and heartwarming celebration, it was rooted in fundamentals and decorations were romantically soft, while leveraging the common resource of wood, commonly found in their hometowns. It was a crazy night of dancing, merry making and plenty of laughter.

And They Said
“We considered ourselves lucky, having found Ode to Joy online and yet everything worked out great. Without their help, we would not have our wedding planned and executed so well.
We contacted them about 6 months before the date with a blank canvas- we only had our budget in mind. We knew what we wanted- an intimate church wedding followed by a simple dinner for close friends and family.
Not just the wedding concept, OTJ also helped us with the budget planning of our wedding. They followed through closely with deadlines, reminded us of important dates and took care of the details which was very helpful to us who were both quite busy at the time and traveled a lot.”
